Marin REALTORS® Endorse 14 Local Candidates and One Ballot Measure in November Elections

The Marin Association of REALTORS® has announced it is endorsing 14 candidates in the November election.

MAR President Mary Kay Yamamoto said all the candidates support the organization’s positions on the key issues that are important to both the public and Marin's organized real estate community.  The organization also backs passage of Measure B, which seeks to renew and increase a parcel tax for the Tamalpais Union High School District.

Yamamoto noted that, “REALTORS® are active and involved in their towns and cities, so it is no surprise that many of our concerns overlap with the issues that affect communities across Marin.  These issues include our support for mandatory full disclosure by local governments about their meeting agendas and easy online access to that information,  implementation of ten-year action plans to help address urgent sewer lateral problems and enforcement of a moratorium on laws and fees that are harmful to housing markets.”
