Agents take heed from these recent cases shared by Cari Lynn Pace, a court-approved real estate expert witness and veteran real estate broker and author. The headlines about real estate litigation have been numerous in 2016. Learn why other agents’ transactions crashed and burned. What can you do to keep your transactions on track?

Ms. Pace highlights cases including disclosure “potholes”, tenants, misleading flyers, referral fees, elder abuse, texts, easements, flooding, driveways, and more. Ms. Pace will also summarize solid practices we can learn from others’ mistakes to keep our transactions moving on course.

Ms. Pace has been a resource for litigation attorneys in over 50 cases and six counties. She’s a Past President of the Marin Association of Realtors and instructs BRE continuing education courses for GRI as a Master Instructor. Pace owns Professional Publishing LLC and wrote two training books for C.A.R. Her third book focuses on the top 100 reasons why buyers and sellers keep suing each other. It’s “Don’t Shoot Me…I’m Just the Real Estate Agent!” Complimentary copies of the “Real Estate Law Newsletter” will be given to all attendees.
