Challenges to Housing Development Report Reading
The City of San Rafael is hosting a public meeting to read the 'Challenges to Housing Development' report created by the Community Development Department. This report will cover the list of challenges to development uncovered during the drafting of the report, and a list of recommended actions to overcome these challenges. Public comment will be accepted at this meeting.
Rental Ordinance Meeting
The Larkspur City Council will will introduce a first reading of an ordinance that would require most rental rents and other information to be reported to the city, landlords to provide a Just-Cause for eviction, and be required to participate in mediation in cases of rent increase above 5% at their meeting on Wednesday, September 4, 2019: 6:30 p.m at City Hall - 400 Magnolia Ave. Click here for the agenda
WUI Vegetation Management Second Reading
The Mill Valley city council is considering a vegetation management ordinance applying to homes in the Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) that would require the removal of certain vegetation within 3 feet of the home. The council passed the ordinance on first reading at their August 5th meeting and is expected to consider the ordinance on second reading at their City Council meeting on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 6:30 PM at Mill Valley City Hall, 26 Corte Madera Avenue.
