Dear Marin REALTORS® -
The coronavirus situation is evolving rapidly, with new guidance and updates coming multiple times per day.
The most significant development today, Monday, March 16th, was a widespread Shelter In Place order issued for the six counties in the Bay Area.
We advise all members to heed the direction of your Local, State and National government entities regarding the COVID-19 outbreak.
Based on the March 16th directive to Shelter in Place until April 7, we strongly recommend that you consider alternatives to Broker Tours and Open Houses. There are many alternatives to our traditional tours and open houses and creative ways to continue with selling and buying efforts during these unusual times.
Please consider the health and well-being of your clients, your fellow agents, and the public before holding a Broker Tour or Open House. We also suggest that you seek the advice of your brokers and consult the wishes of your clients in how to market their properties at this time.
Note that many other local and county services are being suspended or modified during this time; please continue to check your email and MarinRealtors.org for updated information.
Please also review the following resources from Marin County:
- Read the Shelter in Place Order
- Read the Shelter in Place Order Press Release
- Read the Shelter in Place FAQs
In adherence to the Shelter in Place order, the Marin REALTORS® Association staff will serve members remotely during our normal business hours of 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
Please direct all membership related inquiries to MemberServices@MarinCountyRealtors.com or call 415.507.1000.
If you have any questions about association operations during this time, please contact me by email.
