Pacific Gas and Electric Company has alerted Marin County Sheriff's Office that the utility may activate its Public Safety Power Shutoff protocol between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 26th. PGE has announced a Public Safety Power Shutoff starting at 4:00 am on October 9th for several communities in Marin.
This is in response to high temperatures, Red Flag condition and high winds.
